Warren – Katherine Ann “Kathy” DeNunzio, 71, passed away Monday evening, April 29, 2024.
Kathy will always be remembered for her bubbly and sociable personality, her smile and her capacity to give.
She was born December 19, 1952, in Warren, the daughter of Robert and Luella (Roberts) DeNunzio and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a proud graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School class of 1971. After graduation, Kathy began her career working at Packard Electric followed by being a cook for many years at the Brown Derby Restaurant and others.
Kathy had many passions throughout her life. She loved cooking, listing to music, especially the Beatles, George Harrison and Lady Gaga along with watching her favorite TV series the Walking Dead in which her favorite character was Daryl Dixon. Kathy also was a huge NFL fan and loved to root for her favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Her favorite color was purple.
Kathy leaves behind her brother Bob (Mary) DeNunzio and niece Marina DeNunzio of Shaker Heights, an older brother Ralph DeNunzio along with several family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Per Kathy’s wishes there was a private burial at All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd., Warren.
