Other loved ones including Emma Kuznik, Dee Wyant and Jamie Crystal Yoder also looked after her and completed her care team at home.

Kathryn was born December 31, 1943, in Warren, the daughter of Michael and Mary (Mosko) Neilan.

She was a graduate of St. Mary High School and earned her Bachelor of English degree from Kent State University. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Kathryn later achieved a double Master’s degree in Education with honors. Kathy loved gardening and beautiful flowers, especially roses. She loved to travel and felt at home in her adventures state side as well as international.  She traveled to many countries including to Ireland where she visited the home of her dad and met many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She loved beach-side resorts and her vacations to Hilton Head, SC.

Kathy loved hosting people at home and was famous for her parties where everyone was welcome and there was always room for one more.
