Linda Lee (Ruble) Hunter

Warren – Linda Lee Hunter, 75, of Warren, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, August 14, 2024.

Linda was born June 16, 1949 in Warren, the daughter of Harold and June (Libert) Ruble and was a lifelong area resident.

She graduated from Howland High School and was a member of Warren Baptist Temple.  

Linda was a proud homemaker and loved socializing and spending time with her family and friends. She always made her family her top priority.   

Linda had many passions throughout her life. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed doing crafts and loved playing bingo with her friends at The Manor at Howland Glen.

Her husband of 34 years Les Hunter whom she married on October 20, 1976 passed away on May 11, 2010.

Linda leaves behind to hold onto her precious memories her beloved four children Amy (Ray Cornicelli) Shafer of Howland, Steven (Kelli) Hunter of Michigan, Brian (Tracie) Hunter of Brookfield and Jarrod Partenheimer of Colorado, her eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren whom she adored, a sister Carol (Michael) Cerny of Champion and a brother Terry (Linda) Ruble of Cortland along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

Besides her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by her granddaughter Alexandria Shafer and her two brothers Bert and Leonard Ruble.  

Family and friends may pay their respects to Linda on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 5:50 pm at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd., NE, Warren, where a funeral service will take place at 6:00 pm with Pastor Jim Dittmar as celebrant.

Burial will take place at Meadow Brook Cemetery in Champion at a later date.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the entire staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital 6th floor and The Hospice House for all the wonderful care and compassion shown to Linda and them throughout this difficult time.

Linda’s family requests that in lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made to The Hospice House of Poland or Warren Baptist Temple.
