Warren – Marion F. Yurtin, 90, of Warren passed away on Saturday morning, November 1, 2025 at Hospice House in Poland.
Marion was born on July 29, 1935 in Warren, OH, a daughter of the late John S. and Mary (Hildack) Bench.
Marion graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in June of 1953 and went on to marry Mike Yurtin on July 13, 1957. They were married 56 years until Mike’s passing in 2014.
Marion was a bank teller at Second National Bank for many years. Outside of work, she was a devoted member of Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Warren and a proud homemaker. Marion cherished her family and friends and her presence will be forever missed.
Marion will always be remembered by her son, Michael J. Yurtin of Cortland and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and her husband, Marion was preceded in death by her brother, John B. Bench and her sisters, Theresa DiGiacobbe, Leona Lazich and Janet Heeter.
Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Marion on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 10:30 to 11:30am at Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 180 Belvedere Ave NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
A Funeral Service, with Rev. Miron Kerul’-Kmec officiating, will follow at 11:30am on Thursday at the church.
Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marion’s name to Hospice of the Valley.
