Michael E. Mink

Warren – Michael E. Mink, 94, of Warren passed away on Wednesday morning, March 5, 2025 at Shepherd of Valley in Howland.

Michael was born on September 19, 1930 in Detroit, MI, a son of John and Bertha (Petiya) Mink.

Michael was a 1948 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, where he was a pitcher on the state baseball team. After graduation, he served in the United States Marine Corps. Upon returning home, Michael started work at Packard Electric where he would work for 38 years, retiring as a draftsman from Delphi Packard.

Outside of work, Michael enjoyed fishing and playing golf. He and his friends were key players in the construction of Northwood Golf Course in Champion. Michael was known for being a Detroit Tigers and Warren G. Harding Panthers fan. He was very lucky in entering sweepstakes, having won several prizes over the years. Michael was also known for his love of Dobermans and Cadillacs. Most of all, he loved and cherished his family and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Michael will always be remembered by his children, Dr. Edward Mink of Gulf Port, MS, Cynthia (Nick) Spano of Warren and Gary (Judy) Mink of Warren; grandchildren, Katlyn, Haylee, Jeremy, Chelsey, Joshua and Erin (Scott) and great grandchildren, Emme and Owen.

Besides his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Annabelle (Binko) Mink and sister, Patricia Craft.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Michael on Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 12pm to 2pm at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren, 1884 North Road NE.

A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 2pm.

A private burial will be at All Souls Cemetery.
