Michaelene T. "Mickey" Stanich

Centerville - Michaelene T. “Mickey” Stanich, 84, formerly of Warren, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, in Centerville, Ohio.

She was born February 25, 1941, in Sharon, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Margaret Belcik.

Mickey married the love of her life, Albert J. Stanich, in 1965, and he preceded her in death in 2018. 

She retired with 44 years of service as a bookkeeper from GE’s Ohio Lamp Plant.

Mickey was a long-time member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Church, formerly Blessed Sacrament Church. She loved spending time with her family, photography, traveling and trying new recipes. 

She is survived by two daughters, Theresa (Dominic) Basciano of South Bend, Ind., and Christine (Todd) Rodden of Centerville; four grandchildren, Dom, Maria, Nathan and Nick; her devoted sister, Bernadette Toskin of Hermitage, Pa.; and by numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes Belcik.

A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 18, at 10 a.m. at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish - Blessed Sacrament Church, 3020 Reeves Road NE Warren, OH 44483. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
