Nancy A. (Loomis) Meeker

Warren – Nancy A. Meeker, 77, of Cortland passed away on Sunday evening, January 26, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital.

Nancy was born on June 2, 1947 in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of Edward and Shirley (Grainger) Loomis.

Nancy was a 1965 graduate of Maplewood High School and went on to marry the love of her life, Edward Meeker, on June 19, 1965.

Besides being a proud homemaker, Nancy became the co-owner of Lakeside RV Rental and Sales with her husband. She was also well-known for refurbishing and appraising antiques and dolls. Nancy was an avid Cleveland Cavalier and Indians fan, never missing watching or listening to each game. She enjoyed gardening and tending to the many flowers around her house. Most of all, Nancy cherished her family and appreciated the time she spent with those she loved.

Nancy will always be remembered by her three sons Rodney Meeker (Kelly Brunstetter) of Mecca, Matthew (Leesa) Meeker of Flat Rock, MI, and Brian (Robyn) Meeker of Hudson; eight grandchildren Madison, Delaney, Kyle, Emily, Lauren, Boston, Mckinley and Sterling; one great granddaughter, Bailey; sister, Tina (Keith) Hartman; brothers, Raymond (Cathy) Loomis and Ronald (Barbara) Loomis; dear friends and neighbors, Dave and Debbie Walter and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Meeker and her brother, Edward Loomis.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Nancy on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.

A service will be Thursday, at Noon at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Dugan Cemetery in Fowler Township.
