Nancy J. (Vitale) Richards

Grove City – Nancy J. Richards, 92, of Grove City, formerly of Warren, who passed away Friday morning, August 16, 2019 with her family by her side.

She was born March 3, 1927 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Anthony and Nancy (Cassella) Vitale and moved to the Warren area in 1955. Nancy then moved to Grove City, Ohio in 1992 to be closer to her daughter.

Nancy was a proud homemaker and a true matriarch for her family. She was an excellent cook and baker and her family will miss all her wonderful recipes.

She was a former member of St. Pius X Church, Warren and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Grove City.

Nancy had many passions throughout her life. She enjoyed reading and collecting costume jewelry.

Her husband Dominic M. Richards whom she married July 7, 1951 passed away July 7, 1987.

She leaves behind two sons Frank Richards of Austin, Texas and Barry (Cynthia) Richards of Stow, a daughter Donna (Kevin) Loychik of Grove City, Ohio, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a brother Steven (Vilma) Vitale of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Besides her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a son Donald Richards.

There will be a committal service held on Monday at 2:00 pm at All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta.

Arrangements were entrusted to the professional care of the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd., Warren.
