Patricia Sawyer

Warren- Patricia M. Sawyer, 83, of Warren passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, January 21, 2026 at Gillette Nursing Home in Warren, with her children by her side.

Patricia was born on September 24, 1942 in Warren, a daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Kline) Roscoe.

Patricia was a 1960 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.

In addition to being a proud homemaker, Patricia worked as a clerk for the City of Warren Income Tax Department until her retirement.

Outside of work, Patricia enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She never missed any of their sporting events until MS made it too difficult for her to attend. She loved her family above all else and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Patricia will always be remembered by her children, Mark Sawyer and Leeann (Keith) Tenney; grandchildren, Danielle and Andrew Sawyer and Bryce and Sawyer Tenney; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Sawyer and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard L. Sawyer, a son, Richard B. Sawyer, her brother, Edward Roscoe and her sister, Louise Bellay.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Patricia on Tuesday February 3, 2026 from 11am, to 12 noon at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren, 1884 North Rd NE.

A funeral home service will be at 12pm with Rev. Christopher Cicero presiding.

A private entombment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland at a later date.
