Champion – Sherry Grace Miller, 73, of Champion passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Windsor House of Champion.
Sherry was born on May 14, 1951 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of Harold and Bessie (Costello) Stockton.
Sherry was a 1969 graduate of Lakeview High School. She went on to hold many positions, her favorite of which was being a seamstress. Whether it was professionally or on the side for family and friends, Sherry enjoyed her work and was very talented. She was most notably known for her quilts.
Outside of work and in addition to being a proud homemaker, Sherry enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, working on miniatures and doll houses and traveling to the beach. Most of all she loved being a mother and grandmother. Sherry cherished her family and loved spending quality time with those she loved. She will be deeply missed.
Sherry will always be remembered by her five daughters, Suzette (Mark) Marino of Marietta, GA, Cheryl (Michael) Burns of Bristol, OH, Jessica Miller (Rick Lucey) of West Palm Beach, FL, Jennifer Sigler of Niles, OH, and Michelle Miller of Cape Coral, FL; nine grandchildren, Maeve (Brandon Ward) Marino, Shea and Gaelen Marino, Timothy Hacker, Zachary and Kaylee Burns, Gabriel Miller, Alexander Harrington, and Noah Ranck; siblings, Ronnie (Rosie) Stockton of Cortland, Tina (Phil) Schoch of Tallmadge, Robert Thomas of Bristolville and Randy Stockton of Warren; mother-in-law, Martha Miller of Mt. Vernon; brother-in-law, Tom Miller of Cortland; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Brian) Ricci of Orlando, FL, Pam Miller of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Mary Thomas of Champion and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Michael Miller; daughter, Renee Hacker; father-in-law, Michael D. Miller; Sister-in-law Lori Miller and a brother-in-law Mark Pusey.
Memorial calling hours will be Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 5:30 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
