Warren – Thomas Joseph Krol, 77, of Warren passed away on Sunday evening, November 30, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic.
Tom was born on October 20, 1948 in Warren, OH, a son of the late Michael and Berniece (Rydzak) Krol.
He was a 1966 graduate of Newton Falls High School, where he excelled in baseball. He went on to earn a Master’s degree from Alliance College in Cambridge, PA. Tom had an extensive career as a manufacturing supervisor, beginning with Republic Steel, then Van Huffel, then Continental Plastic Container in Cleveland and eventually retiring from Consolidated Containers in Cincinnati, OH.
Outside of work, Tom was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, trapping and fishing. He also treasured times spent on the lake with family and friends. Tom was also an avid vegetable gardener and had a particular knack for growing and grinding his own cayenne pepper. Tom was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for many years. He cherished his faith and his family, and he will be deeply missed.
Tom will always be remembered by his wife of 50 years, Linda (Petrick) Krol of Warren; grandchildren, Carissa, Logan, Bailey, Brandon and Emma Harlow; two great grandchildren; brother, Terry (Cindy) Krol of North Jackson; niece and goddaughter, Kristi (Jerry) Gorgie of Austintown; nieces and nephews, Kathy (John) Hough, Kristopher (Tracey) Krol, Melissa (Tony) DeFabbo, Aaron and Alysia Cvengros; several great nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Shelly (Petrick) Shelor.
Besides his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Krol, and his sister, Kathleen Krol.
Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Tom on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 2 to 4pm at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren, 1884 North Road NE.
A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 4pm.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery on Tuesday.
