Hubbard – Varina Lee White, 78, of Hubbard passed away on Wednesday morning, September 17, 2025 with her family by her side.
Varina was born on December 23, 1946 in Pampa, Texas, a daughter of the late Gerald Edwin and Frances Varina (Hudge) Tyler.
Varina graduate high school in New Mexico and attended college in Texas.
Varina and her family moved back to Warren in 1972, where she was devoted member of St. James Catholic Church, now St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish.
Varina worked for many years for Great Lakes Cheese. Outside of work, she enjoyed playing video games, specifically Nintendo handheld games such as Final Fantasy 7. Most of all, Varina loved and supported her family, especially her grandchildren. Whether it was at home or wherever life took them, she cherished time spent with those she loved and she will be deeply missed.
Varina will always be remembered by her two sons, James (Monika) White of Windham, OH, and Michael (Allison) White of Hubbard; four grandchildren Sarah, Tina, Michael Craig, and Cindy; many loved great grandchildren and one already loved great great granddaughter on the way. Varina also leaves a brother, Steve (Cathy) Tyler of Texas.
Besides her parents, Varina was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Thomas White, who passed in 2018.
Varina’s family will honor her with a private burial service at St. Mary Cemetery in Warren.
